Welcome to Hair By Helen's website. Helen is a freelance hairdresser based in Worcester Park. She pride's herself on being friendly, reliable and trustworthy Helen has many amazing clients that she have been visiting for many years and is truly grateful.

She is level 2 and 3 trained and also has completed her assessors training (d32&D33). Only once Helen completed her  assessors training she realized that it was the actual hairdressing she loved and to this day it is still her number one love. 

​

Helen was working in a shop for 23 years and then 8 years ago decided to go freelance for which she loves. 

​

She has trained in a salon that used Loreal products to which allowed her to go on many Loreal courses to keep her hairdressing skills up to date. Helen has completed  colour keys courses, which includes colour correction and advanced colour knowledge. Helen has also completed many bridal hair and cutting courses to keep her up to date. She has also completed a week long Toni and Guy cutting course which was such an amazing experience and actually had her hair cut by the man himself Antony Mascola.

Helen is currently undertaking advanced clinical training to become a fully qualified Clinical Trichologist and is due to qualify in Summer 2026. Following her qualification, Helen will be opening her own trichology clinic, where she will be able to provide in-depth consultations, diagnosis, and treatment plans for a wide range of hair and scalp conditions.

Helen believes that fabulous professional products are the foundations of a healthy hair and scalp. Shampoos and conditioners will keep the hair and scalp healthy and cleansed while scalp treatments will help to remove impurities and build up of products while keeping the microbiome balanced.

​

Helen is now also a 'Independent Hairdressing Practitioner level 1' for the Cancer Hair charity. Helen has completed a training course on how to support Cancer hair loss patients on their journeys with hair loss due to Cancer treatment. 

​

Helen is also Glowwa hair food supplement supplier and trained. Glowwa is the highest quality food supplement for health and wellbeing including thinning results driven and only uses the best ingredients. Supplements should be checked with a GP before commencement.

Helen’s goal is to bridge the gap between hairdressing and hair health, offering clients not only beautiful hair, but real solutions to underlying concerns.
